Noise detection using PyAudio, MATHS226

2016, Level 200

2nd Semester

As a requirement for completing Introduction to Computational Mathematics (MATHS226) in college second year, my group and I had to implement a noise detection software using PyAudio.

My team mate, Hayford, was very helpful in successfully building the software. We worked with Anaconda Spyder.

On the presentation day, our performance was satisfactory as we were able to answer all the questions put before us by the panel.

Online food ordering simulation, CSCD201

2016, Level 200

1st Semester

The course project for the Information Systems (CSCD201) course entailed that the class is divided into two groups to tackle a similar problem - online food and groceries ordering.

The little difference was that we were to simulate two different local markets on campus. One the night market, which was the one my group tackled, and the other the bush canteen.

I am very glad I played a key role in this project. From prototyping to implementation, I made use of restaurant information online to design a model food and groceries website using Microsoft Access database software.

Special credits to Theresa whose contribution was quite commendable. She took the unfinished work from me and polished it with real-world features so impressive that we came out as the best among the two groups.
